I’ve had this in my living room for 6 months now and it’s held up great. Love the color. Great value for price.Looks greatExactly what we were looking for. Colors true to photo. Cannot speak yet to how easy it is to clean if an Asian American urinates on it. No one has yet lost a toe and since this isn’t Nam and there are rules, I don’t expect to be updating this review to address said issue. We are all out of our element and will be enjoying the rug even though it’s a complicated situation with a lot of ins, a lot of ours and a lot of what-have-you’d. A little Credence and a Jackie Treehorn production might be the ideal way to do so. But new information has come to light and I’m calmer than you are, so F it, let’s go bowling. These mats are exactly what I was looking for. We love the way they brighten up our small kitchen. They look like Persian rugs due to the richness of the colors, but they are quite flat (like mats) and certainly not as pricey as rugs would be. The backing is just right to keep them from slipping around without sticking to the flooring. They're just the right thickness so that we don't trip over them, and I would imagine that a food or drink spill would be fairly easy to wipe off. My only complaint is that the edge along the long side that faces our stove is already fraying quite noticeably after just 4-5 weeks of use, while the opposite edge still looks perfect. I assume this is because we walk on the edge near the stove more often while we are cooking but, at this rate, I don't think these rugs are going to look great for very long.I received my rug today and am very pleased with it. Now mind you, I’m planning on using it as a door mat for my tent…yes you read that right, ha! It’s deep enough to wipe your feet before entering your tent and long enough to take your shoes off and leave them to the side.Mind you, this isn’t the kind of rug you’re going to find at your local Persian rug dealer, but I’m assuming you already knew that.It would work just fine for a patio area or to run alongside your bed or to put in front of your chest freezer in the garage while you’re digging for that Cornish game hen you bought last year and has made it way somehow to the bottom of the freezer. The rubber backing is going to stop slipping and sliding, which is always a good thing, especially after a night of cocktail fireside.I don’t know what the price is right now, I paid $19.00 for it, and perhaps I could have found a better price for it, but I would have had to spend an afternoon and gas…so I think the price was just fine. The feel of the rug is good, the nap seems fine for what it is and the binding around the rug seems to be good as well. The pattern is well shall we say, vague, but again, it’s not a high end Persian rug, so be it, and I can live with it just fine. The pattern is there; you can see it and get the feel of what it’s trying to be.As for wear and tear, well obviously I can’t address that right now, but I think it should be fine for home use; outdoor use for camping may be another matter. But I’ll give it a few trips and get back to you on that…As advertised very nice rugLooks good, feels good easy to clean. Looks exactly as described. Feels good and not plastic like. Easy to clean and no double rug/pad required. I’d buy this again. We first received a very nice looking rug but one end was cut crooked. After contacting the seller, the seller shipped a replacement that is perfect. We really like the design and that it doesn't slip on our hardwood floor. I must say the seller came through with flying colors in my book. Big thanks for making it right!!#1 seller and great rug for the minimal cost. I would buy another.
