Does what it says it does, no more water on my tile floor. Ended buying more for all bathrooms and for my daughters house.Dry super fast.. beautifulNo more wet floorsNote there are 2 things in the styrofoam packaging, a slip proof gizmo and small piece of sandpaper. I didn’t discover these until the 3rd mat.Arrived scuffed, pattern is mostly rubbed off, I do't have the time to deal with returns and exchanges. I paid extra because I liked this design, would have been better off with a cheaper one. Not that easy to clean but it does absorb wellWater pools around feet and doesn’t absorb quickly at all. Would not purchase- save your moneyWe have a very messy drinker and he creates puddles on the kitchen floor every time he drinks from the pet fountain. The standard mat we had underneath didn’t really help. I was looking for something sturdy enough to work for a dog bowl but actually absorbent. The material of this mat intrigued me as I’d not heard of it. I would liken it to ceramic absorbent coasters. It does feel like stone and is stiff yet low profile. The amount it absorbs is impressive. I like that you can simply sand off stains. It’s not cold to the touch like stone might be but it doesn’t have give so it’s not terribly comfortable to stand on but stepping out of the shower would be fine. I’m not a fan of the words but the dish covers it up and it might sand off as well. The grey color seems dispersed throughout so the marbling should hold up to sanding. I am not sure the mat would be slip safe if water got under it. But the other reviews say there were items in the foam so I guess I threw that out!Though it seemed a bit expensive to me at first, it is competitively priced when compared with other earth mats sold online. Recommend! My only wish is that it were a little larger so I didn’t have to keep the other mat underneath.
